We would like to update you all on changes at Smallridge Bros that are being introduced as of Monday 6th July 2020.

We are now reopening our showrooms and have measures in place in-line with government guidelines to keep you and our staff safe.

These include a social distancing policy and a one-way system throughout the showroom with simple instructions available for all to see as you enter and walk around our premises.

We have also installed touchless sanitiser machines at the entrance to each showroom, please use them. If we could kindly ask you to keep the touching of goods to a minimum to help reduce the risk to everyone.

We are running a robust hygiene system, disinfecting door handles, work surfaces and any area likely to be regularly touched, this is being done at regular recorded intervals throughout the day.

Unfortunately, we are currently not able to offer customer toilets.

Our counter will now be fitted with a screen for you and our staff’s wellbeing with a collection area at one end with socially distanced points for you to wait behind.

We still ask where possible that you still ring ahead with your order allowing us to check stock, pick the parts and have them in the pick-up point outside ready for you to collect, again reducing any risk.

Whether you require Parts, Sales or Service please report to the parts showroom and someone from the relevant department will come to see you.

If you need to bring your machine in for repair please park up and bring key to the showroom, someone from Service will collect your machine key from there.

If you are waiting onsite for a machine repair or hydraulic pipes to be made etc, could we please ask that you wait away from the customer counter area and be aware of your social distancing with others.

Much of the site will be out of bounds for customers including workshops and offices, please remember this is to help protect the health of yourself and our staff.

We have managed to maintain the same business hours as usual, 7.30am until 6.00pm weekdays 8.00am until 4.00pm Saturdays for our Parts and Service departments. Our Sales team will be working from home on Saturday mornings.

We still have most administrative staff working from home with the exception of our service admin team who are now back at the depots, hopefully this will help us to keep the telephones answered promptly which has at times been very challenging for us, we have appreciated your patience with this matter.
