COVID-19: UPDATE 05/11/2020
Thursday 5th November marks a second national lockdown for England and following the government guidance we would like to update you all on the measures we have in place to keep our customers and staff safe.
STORES
- All of our showrooms will remain open and we will still be welcoming you inside
Winter hours now apply: 7:45am-5.30pm Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm Saturday
- We advise to travel to our showrooms for essential purchases only
- Where it is possible please call ahead and collect your order from our Covid-collection points
- We will be limiting the amount of people in store at one time
(Collabear and Holsworthy 4 people, 6 people in Callington and 3 people in Truro)
- If you are visiting in a group, we ask that no more than 2 people per group enter the depot at one time
- Face coverings to be worn by customers and staff
- Please adhere to social distancing when in store or on our yards
(2m distant between other customers and staff)
- Make use of our sanitiser stations located at the main entrances
- Our showrooms are regularly cleaned and our teams have dedicated cleaning slots throughout the day to ensure showrooms are regularly sanitised
- Our out of hours service will continue
- John Deere parts supply will still be running as usual so we are still able to offer next day delivery to store on John Deere parts
SALES
- If you are visiting one of our depots and you require sales, please report to the parts showroom and someone from the sales department will come to see you
- Your sales representatives will be contactable as usual via mobile but will be working from home
- Most of our admin team will also be working remotely
- Machinery will be cleaned regularly before and after any customer visits
- Any machinery sold will be fully sanitised before a contactless handover
- Any on farm visits will be confirmed as an appointment between the customer and the area sales manager
- We are still offering machinery demos, all demo’s will be done following social distancing guidelines. The machine will be sanitised before and after use
WORKSHOP
- If you are visiting one of our depots and you require workshop, please report to the parts showroom and someone from the workshop department will come to see you, please refrain from entering the workshop area
- Machinery will be sanitised before and after being worked on in depot or on farm
- For breakdowns and on-farm servicing, customers need to leave the machine accessible for the engineer and not approach wherever possible. We must insist you observe this practice to protect both yourself and our staff
-If you need to bring your machine in for repair please park up and bring key to the showroom, someone from Service will collect your machine key from there
- Our out of hours service will continue as normal
